We bought our Boatahome in 2015 - a 7.6m Escape 2 with a single 90hp motor. It has done 80000kms (on tar and some gravel roads) and heaps on the water. We have done a full lap (6 months), half lap through the Center and Tasmania (both 3 months), plus lots of shorter trips through the eastern states. It's been to King Ash Bay, Aarkaroola, Painted Desert, Oodnadatta Track, and Lawn Hill Gorge on dirt roads. On water, she has done the Tweed and Clarence Rivers, Hinchinbrook and Fraser Islands, Lake St Clair and Barrington, Bjelke Peterson, Theresa Creek and Awonga Dams to name a few. Our boat is equipped to be off-grid and can be there at least a week before water and dump runs need to be done. These boats are designed for calm waters but ours has coped with a number of rough channel crossings. We put a hand-sized hole in one hull after hitting a rock - it survived two high tides and a 45 minute trip back to the ramp, without noticeably taking on water. We won't be selling it until old age or health issues interfere with its use. My review - love its versatility, quality workmanship, excellent support from manufacturer (little needed though) - great as a boat or caravan.
